Logo Designer
Hi there,

Hope your having a good week so far?

Here are some of my concepts. With all of my submissions, I've gone for something that's fairly clean and simple, yet striking. Some I've created an icon that works well within the logo or as a stand alone element, one that can be used for things like favicons. Others, instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as watermarks.

The logos are 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,

It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say.
I look forward to your comments or thoughts.

Regards,
Angus

Hi Angus,

Our week has been good so far, thank you for asking.
We are loving Entry #5. It's creative, tropical, simple, and striking- we agree with you! Oh perfect, we are needing ones that we can scale to any size. Could we see #5 with some different color variations? And enlarge the font for "Bamboo Flooring Hawaii".
We look forward to working with you and seeing your work!

Hi Marina,

Thanks for the great feedback and comments, always appreciated!
Of course would be my pleasure to work up some variations, no problems at all. Although it might have to be first thing in the morning ... I'm based in the UK and going to catch an early night :)

Did you have any specific colours you'd like to see? Shall I stick to the green/beige/brown palette or experiment and go outside of those?

Hope you have a great rest of your day and speak to you soon.

Cheers

Hi Angus,

No worries at all. A good nights rest is always important!
We're liking the green/beige/brown palette, perhaps some yellow as well? And not happy go-lucky yellow, but beige/yellow- like bamboo. That would be great!
But feel free to experiment as well. With other colors, as well as other designs. So far we love your style so we'd like to see your creativity run wild!

Mahalo and talk to you soon,

Morning Marina,

Hope you had a good rest of your day?

Thanks for the extra info ... And here are a few new iterations: #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13 and #14

Using different colour palettes and also experiment with placement of the icon, and icon itself.

With all colour options I've gone for ones that compliment each other tonally so they sit well together. Some I've brought in other colours, but always kept either a green or bamboo yellow as the key colour.

I look forward to your thoughts and feedback.

Cheers

Sorry forgot to say ... I changed the font of "Bamboo Flooring Hawaii" to a slimmer taller font, which meant I could make it bigger within the space its placed.

Hi Angus,

Thank you for all of these new submissions! I'd have to say I'm liking the original colors we had. Could we do the font size and type from #8 for #5? And could we see #5's colors for #9 and #10? #12 is pretty good, too. Let's see that one with #5's colors as well.

Talk to you soon!

Hi Angus,

Sorry it's been so long since we've last corresponded. Could we see #34 with darker coloring for "Bamboo Flooring Hawaii" under the BFH?
Just out of curiosity- we love the hibiscus because it gives us the Hawaiian feel we are looking for- but could we see one with a bamboo outline?

We'd love to continue to communicate with you even though time is running short. Let us know if you are able to correspond via email with us!
Thank you for your work and submissions, Angus!

#35 Could you please go to my website Bambooflooringhi.com. We have our slogan saying, " Beautiful flooring with an environmentally friendly flair" we would like you to incorporate that under your logo. We would like you to use the same font and also play with one other font you think will look good. This will be on our website, business cards and banners. You can start the slogan from the beginning of the flower design.

#35 Could you please use the same color as you used for the BFH for the slogan.

Hi Marina,

Not a problem at all, hope you're well and had a good weekend?

We can definitely still communicate, would be my pleasure. However I'm afraid we're not allowed to communicate directly via email whilst the project is still active and live. As soon as its over i.e. someone's been awarded the winner, then its absolutely fine to chat via email.

Slightly confused with your numbering I'm afraid ... #34 already has all the wording the same colour, so I figured you meant #31 and #35? As those have lighter colours for the "bamboo flooring hawaii".

So hopefully I've got it right :) Here are some variations

#78 - original colours, slogan added, font same as BFH
#79 - as per above but using bamboo instead of hibiscus
#80 - other colours (as per #35), slogan added, font same as BFH
#81 - as per above but using bamboo instead of hibiscus

Look forward to your thoughts and comments.

Cheers

Hi Angus,

The new submissions are beautiful! We are definitely in love with #81. The bamboo instead of the hibiscus is a great improvement and we like the darker colors this time around- it gives a more sophisticated feel.
We have one more improvement we'd like to make. Could we have the slogan enlarged just a little bit more? We like the font because it's easier to read than the others; it looks more clean cut.

Thank you so much! We are very pleased with your work!

Could we see a version of #81 without the slogan, as well.
Thank you!

Hi Marina,

Excellent news, and glad you guys like it :)

No problems RE the changes, here are a few options;

#82 - no slogan
#83 - enlarged slogan, using a regular weight for the font
#84 - as per above, but using a medium weight for the font
#85 - as per above, but using a bold weight for the font

Personally, I'd probably go for #84, the medium weight font. I think the bold is probably too bold and clumps up the letters at that size. The regular also works but I think the medium weight has a good balance between the two.

Cheers
