I think the concept is terrific, unfortunately a bit too complex. As the logo gets smaller it is very difficult to tell what is going on.

I found that mocking golf ball with shade in form of trollface / skoffing skull could be close to your theme.
Text if custom handmade lettering (have sketches as proof).

The ball itself could be used standalone as decal or brand on your product.
