I prefer your original design. :) Let's move away from the cat inside the one mitt and the shape of NJ. I'd rather it say "Red Bank, NJ" somewhere. What if the oven mitt just had a cat's face on it subtly?

I can't pinpoint the difference between this and your other submission so I'm moving this one out but have the other in first place.

This has a lot of potential. Can we somehow add a cat's tail and play with color a bit? Perhaps the font too.
