I like this concept, but I find the text a little plain. Perhaps a contrasting border would make it more interesting.

I dig the font and also the tweaks in the skull design. This is actually one of my favorites, but I'm going to keep it out of the top 5 for now as I'd like to have 5 different designers in the finalists stage. Hope you understand

I like your idea with the circle. Have you tried placing the skull in the middle of the circle. Would be interested to see that

I like the color variation. Although I like the rawness of this logo, I'd be interested to see what it would look like if you add a bit complexity -maybe some more graphic elements.

Thanks for your feedback and ranking. It wasn't inspired by a video game. If you can recall which one, we can definitely tweak it further to make sure it is 100% original.

definitely my favorite so far. However, it reminds me of some logo but I can't recall which one. Is the skull inspired by a video game?
