Baby CakesLogo Design Contest

Hi!
For my first design I wanted to get away from the whole "eating the baby idea" :) These are friendly abstract shapes and patterns, much like a view of cakes from the top. They also resemble many colorful patters used in baby gear.

If you still have a craving for a baby, here is my version. The baby is done in stylized brushstrokes, so it's more understated and iconic.

Thank you for your entries. I do like them very much. Ultimately, our items are gifts for babies and being displayed as cupcakes so I am trying very hard to include both concepts in my logo.

I just re-read your brief, you sell baby items like clothing made to resemble a cupcake, or cake, correct? I came up with an idea of an icon of a baby with a frosting hat, as you would see on a cupcake logo :) The cupcake bottom looks like a top of a cute shirt/dress.
