B.Y.O.D.Logo Design Contest

we know it's hard to implement the cup but here, again, it doesn't look like it belongs there somehow

thanks for adding the coffee, we're not convinced of its placement tough. Maybe scale down the B.Y.O.D. to let the cup shine a bit more or something like that?

Can we also incorporate a coffee/food element into this. We want to make sure the logo communicates a dog friendly cafe. thanks!

Definitely prefer this background - can we maybe add another, more iconic building/structure (Chrysler building, Brooklyn Bridge).
We'd also prefer the dog to have a less pointy snout

More details on NYC. Your second request is hard to implement with current layout as dogs head is higher than his back so putting him in front of the city would caver it while exposing empty space in the back.

Maybe more details in the outline- more New York City specific. Can we try one in B&W with the dog facing the city, so his back is to the front?

I'm not sure what you mean by cleaner lines for the city - do you want even less detail or something quite different?
