Sorry yesterday I said the wrong thing about the owl reaching. I said reaching for the horizontal part of the L and I meant to say the vertical part of the L. That was the part that created the confusion.
Of the fonts you requested earlier, only three were suitable for this layout #377, #379, and #380. And if you're looking for jagged edges, here you go #381.
PS I am planning to play around with the letters a bit more, but I am leaving for a long weekend out of town tomorrow. I am not sure if I will be able to send the new versions during that time.
1) Inlander (we like the tighter spacing, but would not want the texture because it would not transfer well on to merch);
2) Saint George;
3) Brasika
4) Bugaki
5) Gliker
6) Hertical Rough
For this one, can we make the "L" shorter at the end? Also, can we see the font outlined (so it would be black outline and white inside) or in a different color than the black?
We love the owl on the L! Super fun. Is there any way you can play with the word "Awkward" so that it isn't so bold? Any way to play with the letters so maybe one or two tilt or something? I hope I am explaining what I am thinking.
Can we see Brewing Co. a little bit bigger with the "O" in Co. capitalized? Can we also see the wing that is hanging out almost wrap around the A or poke through the middle of the A?
Can we also see this font not as dark black? Maybe a little less bold or even a dark grey?
Can we see this owl but perched on the horizontal part of the L on owl? It would cause things to be moved around but something we just wanted to see if it worked.
I have added some new entries with different fonts. If you like a particular style but not completely satisfied with it, I can search for similar fonts.
Oh and how other thing I forgot on the owl itself. Can we have the eyes go back to where they matched the back color of the logo instead of just black and white to see how it looks with the current owl?
Can we also see the wing color go somewhere in between the almost army green it is now and the hop belly color? just muted a little bit more than it is right now.
Of course, now you can move every feather and rotate the head freely.
Previously, it was rotated by about 20 degrees #295. This one is rotated the most, about 60 degrees. The intermediate version has an angle of approximately 40 degrees #319.
I also added a version with a slightly slimmer owl and a more elongated neck #320, and with a smaller tilt #321.
Any comments are welcome. In the meantime, I will be refining the details. Thank you!
Here is a quick attempt to modify the sketch and rotate the owl's head. I also made some color modifications. The head is not too round, so if you expect a greater rotation, I will have to adjust the drawing a bit.
And yes, ultimately, I think it needs to be redrawn from scratch. But at this point, we can try any modifications. Any feedback is welcome. Thank you!
Also can we see the owl maybe turns its head a little more? Right now there is a slight angle down to the left when looking at it. Can we increase that angle in one sketch just to see how it looks. It can almost be when an owl is looking at something it doesn’t know and does that big turn of the head
I have to admit that this drawing was a preliminary sketch. I intended to refine it a bit. Would you like me to keep a more raw look or refine the lines?
I'm a bit concerned that my logos will start to look too similar to another designer's work. Can you please tell me if you also suggested similar colors and ideas to them?
Can we give the owl a little hop texture to the owls belly feathers? And maybe one in black and white and the other with a little green in the hop belly?

Can we experiment with the font a little bit today?
While we love the font you have been using this whole time, we want to make sure the font and the owl feel right together.
Can we try fonts that are a little more abstract and awkward but in the same orientation as they are in this current logo?

The colors and some details are still in the draft version. Thank you.

I’d love to see the head even rotate a little more to see what it looks like.
We love the owl so much so to continue to dial it in is a perfect exercise for us to go down.
So if it needs to be drawn from scratch that is good for us to see what a further tilt looks like.
I think we can dial in color once we have the owl as a whole where we want it.

Also can we see the new color schemes you can up with before, with more of a darker green on the hop leaf belly?
We have been evolving the owl over time and the hop belly is becoming a prominent idea that we now like a lot.
