For my main company logo I ended needing a more simplistic logo, emblem style. But I love this design and would like to work something out with you on a One on One project after this contest.

On final thought would also be to see what it looks like without the strait line at the bottom. Maybe have the stem lines flare out at the bottom slightly

Don’t change the design on the top, just shrink it, so it doesn’t go as high and wide on the “cap”.
If it’s a sunrise think of it as being LOWER on the horizon 🌅

This is legit. Can we make the sun rays a little more low profile on the top? I want the spikes on top to be a little more subtle. Great work !!

This is looking cool. Would love to see a few variations for the stem. Maybe less bold, more of an outline? Also maybe one skinnier stem? Definitely moving in the right direction though

The top already has the right shape, so even just an outline of a stem at the bottom could make this work! Sorry for the short notice, as I think finalist phase ends in 7 hours

This is a cool concept, but doesn't give mushroom. Maybe there's a way to add a "stem" at the bottom to make this profile look similar to a mushroom?
