this with the purple colors on two or more circles might look good, too. the interlocking circles on the other submission is interesting, too. We could use that for solid-color printing some day, maybe with the purple color filling in some of it. depending on whether we have to use just one color or not.
Hello again. If you have a moment to try the negative version of this (dark grey or charcoal background, white or light grey letters, lighter grey circle), please give it a shot.
After reviewing this more closely, I'd like to see a little more true purple (slightly more blue tint than pink/magenta) in your three ranked entries. Could you dial it slightly bluer/darker for your 1st and 3rd ranked entries?
highly improved! now the "a" fonts are bothering me again, but we're close, here. we could try removing the a from the circles altogether, or use the newer version of the a (copied from "aver") and place that in the circles... or something else entirely? or nothing? in any case, I'm really liking this.
keep pushing on making it thinner; also, stretch "aver" and "strategic counsel" horizontally a bit, lighten it up a bit more... then, for the three circles, darken the main purple color, and make the bluish color a lighter lilac (less blue, more purple, but faded or lighter than the main circle), so the purples are darker/lighter versions of each other .. sorry if I'm getting too particular! Hope this is helpful! Overall, I am pushing for a less bold, lighter touch and feel of the overall logo.
yes, that font on the "a" in "aver" is what I've been liking. paired with the modern stylings, it has a foot in tradition and a foot in the future. the bluish purple circle could get lightened up a bit... and maybe lighten up the "aver" and the "strategic counsel" a bit too. For now, i will replace your current ranked submission with this one!
i am pretty sure you'll be on my final list no matter what. In the meantime, i think a lighter or faded purple in place of the magenta will be an improvement so the magenta doesn't steal the show (reds are tricky that way, aren't they?). Then, the matched fonts are solid. Bit, I prefer more traditional fonts with respect to the shape of the "a" (<<like this font, but more modernly squarish, and still "sans"). We could do a lot to play with the icon/logo and how it interacts with "aver" ... I am really liking this!
better! I am not sure I want the yellow and the green, so if different shades of purple or gray/purple can work with this design, I'd like to see that, too, although maybe I should seriously think about allowing more than just purple and gray. Please also consider using the same font in "aver" as you use for the "a" on the Venn diagram. Finally, please use all caps for "strategic counsel" to reduce the variation in the characters in that line
Hello and thank you for participating. The Venn diagram is simple yet perhaps a great representation of strategic thinking. I am very tied to purple as my thematic color, and lighter grays, as well. Perhaps some purple tones would work for the Venn diagram circles? I will rank this one for now, and will watch for further iteration of this design. Thanks!
