Here are some of my ideas. I wanted to stick to very recognizable auto parts and something that would look fine in small print. I chose to use the connecting rod and piston as the "T" and the connecting rod cap to form the "O". Also tried to play with a gasket to frame the logo. I was unfortunately unable to get all the designs in time before the contest's Open Phase ran out. Please feel free to request any changes, be it colors, fonts, parts...
Keep in mind that only the designers in Top 5 Designer will be able to keep working in the contest, so depending on how they are ranked, they will be able to submit or not.
I really like the idea of the belt around the 2 "o" 's . The piston is good, but top is a little too chunky to look like a T..? Might have missed deadline for ranking. I'll have to check - 1st contest and unfortunately I was away today.
Thanks for the ranking. I will rework the piston to make it a bit more sleek. I'll also be submitting a few more ideas by tomorrow, please let me know if there is any particular part the you may want to see.
I uploaded a few more ideas. I thought I'd try a more corporate feel.
I saw in the brief that you mention you also sell to the American market, is this a somewhat small demographic for your business? Would you rather have more ideas with a Canadian theme?
