Auburn South FairLogo Design Contest

I thought i'd use a bunting theme ... the logo is 2 colours which makes for easier printing. feedback welcome.

Hi Husk, thanks for the submission, you did some thinking and looked at our site and we are grateful.

The Logo wants to be more whimsical and fun - this feels too much like compass rose, and too "orderly" can you do less order - more party?

But I want to also say how honored we are to have such a high ranked designer offer an idea. We are looking for carnival, fun, and party ... perhaps I've over stated the "community coming together"? You did a good job on that line ... but we are looking for more "party". Thanks again!!!!

Husk, g'day from down under, this is much more in the spirit ... good work. We like the party feel, specifically on this theme, stacking the text to make it a block, increase the font size, and use the A with the S trapped in the legs of the A (see http://www.auburnsthps.vic.edu.au/, for school logo ...

Playful interp is great, no need to match, but A's in latest look a bit alien, something in the school font family likely best ... hey, getting late here in AU ... won't be up much longer, but back in the AM .. thanks so much for these ideas ... what about music and games as well as "party" ... just a thought. What you have here is cool. Thanks, you rock

we like A's on #2, but if going that way, like the idea of S trapped in the legs ...

the A's on 3 seem to clash with the "classic carnival" font you've used in the name ...

also, the ratio of balloon to text in # 2 is better than #3, so maybe my suggestion to increase font size was fooled by the thumbnail effect ... balloons on # 3 are too small in relation to font..... keep it up, good stuff.

oh, man, after sleeping on it, I think #2 (your first balloon entry) has the strongest graphic feel. Any advice on how to give feedback without messing up your creative process?? All these elements you have appeal to us. Keep stirring, but follow your gut. Ideas we have (that may or may not be helpful) might include, looser balloon pattern (messier) ... hang point of the text more off kilter ... keep 'em coming.

Can we keep Auburn South together as that is the name of the school - Fair can be separated.
Also inconjunction with the carival / party theme can community and or children be included.
The brightness is spot on...
