Atlanta 7sLogo Design Contest

Hey, I am liking this but not sure what the significance of the bird is. Is that a common symbol of Atlanta? I am also not a huge fan of the female silhouette, is there another effect or design you could substitute?

I'm not sure where you think the bird is, unless you mean the shape just to the left of the bottom of the S, which is supposed to be someone tackling the ball carrier. Guess that doesn't work then.

Haha, yes, I thought it was a bird.

Rugby player silhouettes are hard, maybe try the Atlanta skyline instead?
