Hi, So I can't ask you to use elements of another persons design....but I can tell you two things. First, I prefer the horizontal bars instead of the vertical. Second, I'm also trying to get a color scheme that looks like natural, or desert stone (colors similar to what your logo currently has.
One thought is to have three horizontal bars, but not rectangles; carve up the pyramid into different shaped pieces.
I like the curved line under the pyramid; it implies the earth; that's a nice touch and was the reason I ranked this logo in first place. Maybe that curved line could have a "natural stone" color.
Try a few more; I'll send more feedback. See if you can switch from vertical to horizontal bars without copying the other persons logo.
