We really like this design!!! We think you have the urban edge that we are looking for. Just wondering if we can tweak this a little bit.
I really like the balloon and how the string looks. We do need a really straightforward stencil, so could you make the shine mark black... or outlined in black? Change the background color to all white.
Seriously, I really like your balloon. Can you please re-attack this design with these changes and more to the format that I have ranked? I want to keep the curl at the bottom of the balloon, but the string should be long and slightly wavy, taking up a bit of the middle of the logo, with the titles at bottom.
I think the get committed font could be bolder, more textured and it should be the text that is angled, not ASYLUM (although, for this design in particular, I understand why you did it that way). There should also be a period after it.
I like the simplicity of the ASYLUM font, but viscerally I know that it's not it.
Thanks, for the comments and your interest. I will continue working on the concept. I do have a question. Are you dead set on one color? My "paint smudges" are lighter in shade to give it more realistic look.
There are only four colors used in our show. White, Black, Gray and Red (only at the end). We are going to be photoshopping a blood red image underneath the balloon for the finished design, therefore want to keep everything else black. However, as long as it stays in the gray scale (which is what I think you are saying), that is fine.
