Okay, I have sent out our top 12 logos to our Board for their vote and we will be selecting our winner in the coming days! I included a variety of different styles everyone submitted so the Board has options to pick from. Stay tuned for our selection and/or some more fine-tuning :-O
I was going back through old logos again and this one started to appeal to me. At first I wasn't a fan of the basic logos, but now I feel like some are way too much. Could you incorporate this color scheme into the latest version we have (with the flame and sun and tree incorporated into ANREP)?
I LOVE how this looks in one color! I guess my only thought here...when it is one color...it's not really obvious what the squiggle line is on the E. Could we see this (and maybe the color one too) with a different variation/emphasis on water and/or the ocean?
LOVE THIS! And I LOVE the solid color version too. I think we are good on the ANREP part...we can find tune if we select you all to work with, but could you try some different version of the spelled out portion to put emphasis on Natural Resource Extension or just Natural Resource (you can see some of the other logos for how they have been doing it). I like this one as is, but just want to see what that would look like.
I love the E!!! Okay...I'm really liking this option because it's very different. I want to get it down to like five very different versions to offer to the Board for our next survey. I guess trying to cover everything we do in the name is just too much. Could we see it with no fish inside the R and either no sun inside the P or a different version of a sun? Could we also see whatever revised version you come up with in one color? I like the multi-color personally, but just curious what it would look like as one. THANK YOU!
Oh I LOVE where this is going! I don't know what the E is supposed to be? Could we replace the cow in the P with a sun image? We can have the fish represent our wildlife side too. Then maybe for the E you could use waves to represent water?
It's funny how our perspectives change as we go. I like the fish and flame, but now it doesn't seem to fit with the rest. I'm back to liking the original one. One of our Board members mentioned about maybe incorporating the elements into the word of "ANREP"? Not sure that's possible or anything you want to explore. I wonder if we make the trees and the sun and the water more like their own elements like the fish and flame are, but still kept them in this circle, if that would work. Again, I don't know where the buck stops in terms of your efforts at this point, but I'll keep providing feedback until we pick our finalist ;-)
Hi, thanks a lot for the complements. Just log in and read your comments. I'm glad that you like the revised logo I have made. Will work on your latest request in the best of my ability. Thank you very much.
Oh I love the fire and the fish! Let me know if i'm getting to specific here. I don't know if these details/requests should come down the road or now. Is there any way to incorporate a sun? I think the additional color of yellow or yellowish orange would brighten up the right side and would help to highlight members working in the area of energy and climate. Also, maybe make the dark green a little brighter? I think this logo has great potential and i'm glad i brought it back to life from my original withdrawal pile. Oh, and maybe see what it looks like to have the spelled out portion of our name in a different color or shade of text? I like this one a lot!
First, I hope you keep your originals, but my first thought when i saw this is it looks too business-like...we are an educational organization...but I'm not sure how to fix that, lol. I put this in the withdrawal pile, but now I'm coming back to it...I like it. The green looks a lot like row crops to me and we have another national association that focuses on agriculture, so could we make the green area either a leaf or tree or just different pattern? Would be great to incorporate fire/flame in some way if we can as that makes up a decent portion of our membership. Not sure if you can incorporate any form of wildlife, but maybe a least a bird or fish to emphasize the wildlife component?
