Comment Activity robg2004 commented on #141 ok perfect 4 years ago sculptor commented on #141 #141 #145 and #146 do have identical fonts excluding "D' in the upper right corner of the shield. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #141 Can you make sure that the fonts, excluding the Detroit Mercy D and the only English Detroit D are the same for 141, 145 and 146? 4 years ago sculptor commented on #146 This is regular font. I had it installed on my computer prior to this contest. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #143 Thank you so much for understanding. 4 years ago sculptor commented on #143 I believe Tigers also found idea for their logo in Old English font. But since they have it registered we can't use it. I will post revisions shortly. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #143 for 143 and 144 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #143 lets go with that one then. So long as its the same concept but different from the tigers, we are good. 4 years ago sculptor commented on #143 Yes I used this font in my first entries. It's called Old English Text MT. It's different from Tiger's. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #143 I don't have access to a link per se. I just don't want to use the Detroit Tigers Baseball Team logo. Do you have access to a different similar old English D that we can use in the fonts in your design program? 4 years ago sculptor commented on #144 Yes of course these are variations of the same design. As for the D I wasn't aware that there are two versions and one copyrighted. Please give me the link to the right one to use. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #143 if this is the Detroit tigers D, we need to go with another version of the D so as not to infringe on their trademark. If not, we're good. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #144 Can we have 141, 143 and 144 if we select you as the winner. We are having some internal issues between the three. And have to get it approved by a board. But can't hold up the contest. Is this ok? 4 years ago sculptor commented on #144 Here are two versions you requested. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #141 Can you make this logo with the regular Detroit D--not the Detroit Mercy D and without the university of Detroit Mercy School of Law at the bottom? Also a version with regular Detroit D with the school name on the bottom? 4 years ago sculptor commented on #142 Wider border and thinner in the previous one. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #123 Can you put a white border around the shield and change the white part behind the shield to red please? 4 years ago sculptor commented on #132 I've measured vertical distance between the words but "Justice" can stay out as it doesn't have "hanging" letters. 4 years ago sculptor commented on #132 Here are two versions with the changes you request. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #122 canyon put the red where treble is inside the shield and the blue where the red is? 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #124 can we put the blue where the red is and the red where the blue is inside the shield. And make the ABLA acronym blue? 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #123 With a few tweaks, this is the one. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #123 can you move the words mercy and justice up so they are an equal amount of space from the line as scholarship and power or you can move scholarship and power closer to the line. we just want it consistent. whatever is easier. 4 years ago sculptor commented on #121 There are still a couple of color/border options left so please let me know if you want me to continue. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #98 Also I'd like to see a version with the interior part that is red in white and alternate the colors of the four section red and blue with white symbols. with a red shield border instead of blue. We really like this one once a few tweaks are made. Thank you. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #98 Can we incorporate a "D" with an "M" inside over the word "Mercy" that looks like our law school's. The link for an example is below. https://lawschool.udmercy.edu 4 years ago sculptor commented on #98 Here you are. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #97 Can you put the word scholarship and the word power over the symbols bc it doesn’t quite fit under. Doesn’t look good touching the lines of the shield. 4 years ago sculptor commented on #97 #97 #96 different font for "University", different size of subtexts. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #88 Please use this concept with “law’s” changed to “law”. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #94 I like this concept. But it can’t say wisdom. It has to say scholarship. We can’t change that. We rejected the other one bc scholarship was hyphenated and on two lines. 4 years ago sculptor commented on #94 Thank you. I'm uploading requested revisions. Word "Scholarship" is pretty long so here I've tried to replace it with the "Wisdom" as it also can be found in books. 4 years ago robg2004 commented on #88 I really like this. Can you take away the possessive of the law’s and change it to just law. If “of law” can fit on the same line as mercy school, that would be great. Also, can you incorporate the words into a sample like the drawing I submitted? Thanks. 4 years ago
