a starting point from some of the Judaic designs I had on file... I hope you like it - feedback gets best results.

gotta laugh - I dreamed about doing the ladder... might be either a great idea or a totally lame one... but got to try it!

Love the colors in 10 and the font in 11. LIke the idea of the small star of David over the "I" Ladder is a good idea, but not where I'm aiming, although I could see it coming back. Feels too laborious to climb a ladder. I think my clients want to skip that hard work (in their heads). Still hoping to see something with sparks because I think I'm going to title the blog Sparks. Stay away from green in #3. Otherwise, 1,2,3 aren't doing much for me.

Amy it is okay to put entries in the Not Interested bucket! honest...
the ladder was Jacob's ladder! but may be too far a stretch... I will work on sparks...

I will redo #3 without green if you think that has potential...

Thanks. I like the sparks but it looks a little too much like a party planner. I'm thinkng about the way the sparks are in some of the Beth Am treatments. They look a little more like raindrops, I guess. You can hold off on making more changes if you want until the final round. These are great so far. Not thrilled with the #17.

I've had a few other people look at the logos and everyone like #2 the best. I also like that one a lot. I think the graphic is really cool. I'd rank it first if there was a way to make it a little clearer when you first look at it what it is. The shape of the star doesn't stand out. It's kind of an optical illusion.

responding to this request... two options to make the star stand out...

happy to do other designs - still want to encourage more others to join in! hope they will.

I'm giving some more feedback to designers, so want to include you as well. I absolutely love the font. ONe of the things I'm thinking about is how I'll be able to separate the graphic from the words for different uses - blog, website, footer on stationary, etc; The font you've used is the best for that for sure.

I'm still hoping that for a blog I'll have something that shows the "people" around the star being a little more interactive or generating ideas. Feel free to wait until the next round to work on that.

hard to explain within the LT rules... for example I can give you the icon separately to use as a bullet point.

OR the individual 'person with outstretched arms' can be separated out for use as well. These elements are easy to separate out. (any good designer should give you added files with this type thing at no extra cost)
I think this is what you are asking about ...

I did think about a design I did of hands in a circle to make a star but it is too close to the one I saw at the building where Karen gave her seminar - I can show that to you also if it is of interest - then each hand can become an interactive element.
