Here is one of my proposals. Instead of creating a separate icon / typography combination, I've created an all encompassing logo / unit. One that can be used for additional elements just as branding stamps, watermarks, shirt badges/embroidery etc.
However that said ... at the same time you can take the "AIC" element and use that as a standalone icon!
The logo is 100% vector so will scale well to any size, and works well in full colour, B&W and on coloured backgrounds if needed,
It would be my pleasure to work up any variations so please do say. I look forward to your comments or thoughts.
#47 and #48 look really good. Please get rid of the "scroll" device over the AIC logo. Also, eliminate the "Founded 1887" line below the name. We would like to see 2 versions: one with just the star below "Company", and another with both the star and line still in place (only "Founded 1887" taken out). Instead of of "Estd." to the left of the AIC logo, let's try it with just "1887" in that place. So it will just be the two dates on either side of the AIC. The AIC logo is perfect, and the lettering of the full name is great. We are just trying to slightly reduce the total number of elements. It's very close. Thanks.
Thanks for the feedback, and here are a number of new iterations; #65, #66, #67, #68, #69 and #70 Gradually simplifying it slightly whilst keeping the overall look and feel.
If you'd like to see any further changes, don't hesitate to ask.
