if there are any entries of mine you would like to see variations of (fonts, colors, additions, subtractions, or even just suggestions) please ask. Happy to do. Thanks C
i chose the type for 64/65 because whenever i hear Anything Goes I hear that old song and sort of see Fred Astaire, etc. and so the type sort of fits for that era.
Would you be able to do #62 with out the black background. We like the way it looks, but it might be hard to use it for certain applications (ie. embroidery). Also, could you try #30 with black writing but keeping the leaf green. Thanks, we do like a lot of yours.
Thank you and thank you for the additional entries. We are really liking #68, but one little detail that I noticed is that the bottom of the 'g' on the 'anything' seems to stop into the asparagus. I know it is a really small detail, but if it is easy to change so that you can see all of the 'g' then that would be great. Thanks.
Close, but I did like where you had it before. If you look at the top of the 'h' in 'anything', the black writing goes over the red tomato (on #68). That is what I meant, if the black writing on the bottom of the 'g' could just go over the green asparagus (on #68 still). Sorry if I am being confusing.
No problem at all. See if 80 or 81 work better. 80 just has the Anything Goes coming over them in the very same place, 81 has a slight movement to one of them to the right. Please feel free to ask for what you want. It's important you are happy with the outcome :) And this is a process.
Just an fyi i do have one entry i didn't get up in time which is a wine bottle, wedge of parmesean, a lemon and two olives (all in flat color, non dimensional) if you would care to see that. If you do, you would have to put me in first temporarily of course, but could immediately rerank after submission. If you decide you would like me to upload, please message me, so that i don't miss the opportunity.
Thank you so much for your entries. We really liked a lot of them. It was difficult to decide which one we felt fit our business the best, but we did go with the one that is ranked at the top right now. Once again, thank you for working with us and putting in the revisions very fast. We are very pleased with this experience and have already recommended the website to other people. Thank you, Cory
Thanks for your kind comments. I know you have already chosen, but would like to throw one more thought out there. On the entry you currently have second, that curve below the leaf could represent either a plate with the spiral and leaf representing fresh sophisticated food, or if colored part of a fruit or vegetable. Don't know if that came across since I didn't enter one with the crescent colored.
One way or another, thanks again for your feedback, etc. Carla
I did think it looked like a plate with a little flare and liked it. That is one reason we put it in 2nd. We did like it and I would recommend using it if you put something in for another restaurant. Thanks, Cory
Cory-- I figured that you had gotten the plate reference, but wasn't sure if you had noticed that if you colored the crescent it also created a food reference (almost like an abstract apple or other fruit or vegetable---I had done one with a red crescent and one with an orange, but hadn't put them up--and could have possibly not been noted in its versatility.
I appreciate you taking the time to answer me, even though the contest is over. You guys were great and it was a pleasure to participate in your contest.
Again, thanks for the opportunity and hopes for great success on your new endeavor.
