There is nothing to describe ) Really. Just an abstract leaf executed in a unique way (not overused for your industry) and treated with a technique of material design (think Google), where there is an object and the shade of it. Could be used with/or without circle. You've already saw that this leaf looks cool also without it.
As for the other question, unfortunately, Logotournament Rules don't allow us to discus things like that during the open contests in order to keep them (contests) fair for all. All comments will be visible for all after contest is over. To avoid sanctions, we can discuss this after the contest is over. I hope it makes sense.
I have forwarded latest to the team.... Questions: Can you describe the icon and logic behind it so I can forward to the team?
Also, if we select your company for the winning logo, can you estimate some of the services you can help with going forward? This is a start-up company. Though all of the founders are familiar with business and graphic design, we are going to be busy doing other stuff. I would like to give the financial backer an idea of how much it will cost to expand the brand into a full compliment of needed graphics to build around the logo.
Well, I don't know. This is a totally different concept as a standalone icon. I can play with it but not sure. Moreover, such technique has certain limits in usage. For example, in all black it won't be visible that this is a leaf..
Grrr... this does not let us send you samples of via pictures, so here is a suggestion. If you go to Sprout Social dot com, and look at the leaf in their icon. Would that design/color blend work for the letter "A"
For web purposes needs to be used RGB colors, for printing CMYK, PANTONEs, etc. Usually, the CMYK color match needs to be performed on site of the printing shop, because the equipment varies.
OK... This helps a lot...
Let's take #185 but use the "A" from #182. Let's do one in the Blue, green as you have now... and one in the new CMYK green used on this sample.... I think we will have it nailed down there.
Oh, sorry. I believe I can't do that since incorporating a leaf is in small lower case "a" is protected by other designers' within scope of this contest, during the blind phase..
So... combination of 181 and 79? The lower case "a" is purely an experiment. The Capital A is very nice and I really like how you incorporated that into Lettermarks for use as logos or other branding options.
What if you combined the leaf used in lower case "a" on the other design into this one? -- Also, what if you use the lower case "a" in place of the capital "A" Larger... but lower case? Would the synergy of the two letter look cool?
Also, try CMYK of C:90, M:42, Y:97, K:48
Thank you, but apparently not enough ha-ha :) Let me know if you need to anything tweaked. Please keep in mind that colors could be altered according to your preferences. The main thing is a concept. I try to provide you with clean, simple designs so they can be used in various colors, inverted colors, engraving and embroidery safe (think possible apparel/corporate identity items), etc
Hello. Some more concepts posted with different color schemes. Please, check them out. Is anything else I can do in order to improve the designs? Thanks.
