Overall I don't think the Medallion telegraphs the feeling of Peruvean textiles. The round, edged medallion would be out of place in their culture. Possibly check out the links I provided, or google Peruvian weavers.

THis is very interesting. I like it very much. It will be one of my favorites. You were able to really change focus and get to an entirely new place.
