We would like to see something more interesting done with the symbol.

This is a camera lens. I will continue with other variations and add more emphasis on camera details for you. Since you said you liked your current logo I wanted to create something that wouldn't clash with it. ...You're in a great place to find your logo. It's still early in your competition, as time runs you will be pleased with the many designs choices submitted by Logo Tournament designers.

Can we make the camera more 3 dimensional?
Maybe locate it on the side of the lettering?

This is a revision with little added dimension. Please let me know if another angle is needed. This is a right bottom angle. Were you asking for added dimension the type as well? Thank you Tere

Also, I was trying to keep the camera generic as not to be associated with any brand. But if it is okay to represent (but not copy) a particular camera that may be done also. I will be glad to continue with the revisions. Sincerely, Tere

So I would be fine with a camera that resembles that brand.
