My design concept has icon of your initials as a symbol of strong leadership, the icon can be placed in narrow places. Really like #42; should I take anything into consideration when choosing the color? E.g., better to have white background with blue lettering -will "fit" with more schemes? Or doesn't it matter?
It does not matter, because color can be customize as necessary, although the white background is more frequently used. logos can be made with a transparent background so it can be placed on all object colors.
