I chose to use the silhouettes in #65, #66, #67 and #68 as the letter Y to add something different. For #64 and #63 I used a sine wave to represent "amplify" (it also looks like a cityscape). I was not too sure about adding more figures because it start looking to much like a "rave" party or concert event. I imagine the engage, energize and empowerment is more in reference to life choices rather than a gifted entertainment talent... Is that correct? I also wanted to use the stars to represent a bright future and not a path to stardom. Please let me know if I'm off mark. :)
Also feel free to suggest any changes, I can tone down the overall look or even "amp" it up - gratuitous pun intended :D
Your feedback and thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
HI Marcelo, Thanks for all your designs much appreciated. I do like the creative way you have done the Ys. Regarding your questions, I think 2 figures are enough, the engage, energize, empower is reference to what happens at our live events, the use of stars is great. I would appreciate any variations around #68. Hope that helps Cheers Alan
It's 5am here now and I have been pulling an all nighter. Try to race the clock and make it into Top 5 so that I can dedicate more time into the designs. In the next phase only the top 5 designers will be able to continue. Is there a site were I can get a better idea of what the events encompass. Is it an entertainment venue or star search type thing? Again, any info you can provide would be of tremendous help.
I'm going to cut out for a few hours and then get a fresh start. :) I look forward to any feedback you have or suggestions. If possible please get back to me about a website (yours or otherwise) with the sort of events you hold. That would be very helpful to get ideas of how best to approach the concept. I think I am a bit thrown off with the logo that was uploaded, the Canadian logo seem a bit more serious and older in tone. I saw that there was mention of another logo on the front page, but I do not see it, I don't know if that logo would help give me a better picture of what is needed. Because I come from an ad agency and marketing experience, I try to do as much research about the target market as possible. Any info I can get... I'll take it. :)
