Hi there, sorry for the late entry but i only noticed your contest late. After reading your brief my design was inspired by the sine wave. I have used it to create the letter form mark with the initials "A.M". Then taking into consideration your colouring request I have incorporated the LED light graffiti glow on the wave itself. Your feedback is appreciated.

Great. This is more what I had in mind. I had originally thought of doing the initials in the sine wave but didnt know how hard it would be to make that into a logo. I do like the colors and the font. I would like to see also the Blue and Green on White. I like this concept. I would like to also see if the sine wave could be a little less ribbon like and more beam like, maybe thinner like on an Oscilliscope(but not too thin, just a bit.) I also like the color seperation. I got a 7 day extention. so that should help. Thank you very much. I am looking forward to seeing more.

Please let me know if you would like to see any particular changes made or colour variations. With your extension I can work to perfecting this for you.

I definitely think Entry #11 is going in the right direction. I really like the line you added behind the sine wave, as well as the thickness of it. After seeing it on the white I think I like how the colors pop more on the black. Do you think you could switch the background of #11 to black? I'd also like to see an example where the sign wave itself has a slight outer glow, so that the blue would have a thin outer blue glow, and the green would have a thin outer green glow, so that it looks more like the LED artwork I attached to my contest brief.

I have added in a glow for you and placed the design onto a black background. Whilst I could make the glow look more like the light graffiti I would have to do this in photoshop and your final logo would then not be scalable without distorting. This way you can increase or decrease the scale without loss of quality.

After playing with the internal colouring of the wave i think this may be a preferable result.

I like #20 much better than #19. It has more of a 3D effect like it is a tube. However, I think it looks more like a neon light than an LED trace. I'd like to see less glow, or maybe just not as strong of a glow? I've been looking through different light graffiti pictures and I think what I want that seems to be missing is that the sine wave is too perfect. The way the light is in the photography there are bursts or surges of light, some are more obvious than others, but THEY seem to be the reason for the glow. I think that there is still more to do to make the wave look right. I am uploading a new picture that has more of a 'wave' in the graffiti that might be helpful.

As far as other changes, I'd like to see more of a round font for the name. I think that since the sine wave is so curvy, the font needs to be a little less 'techy'. It is rounded, but I think a font more circle based would be better. I think it would also help the 'A' and 'M' in the mark stand out if the 'A' and 'M' in media were similar. I would also like to see a little more distinction between 'ambient' and 'media', by altering their colors slightly. Not by much, just a little. Also, could you make 'inc' just a smidge larger? It is hard to read, and I'm afraid on a business card, you wouldn't be able to see it at all.

ok here goes. I have played now with over 100 points of mesh to create the same effect as the light graffiti, adding in sections of intensified glow you get when the light light slows down in speed. There are two new fonts presented here as well. It is important to remember that the colouring and detail is mostly lost on the image I have to submit and there is an enormous number of layers that go into creating this effect you may not be seeing in their full capacity. I can also not achieve bot the task of a solid sine wave or a light glow trail as one is neat the other shrinks and grows so I have focused on recreating the graffiti as per your comments.

oh and the outer glow has been diminished to match the light graffiti as well.

I'm really liking the new direction in #34 and #35. I think it captures the light graffiti feel very well. I also love the business name the way it is, font, weight, size, everything. Continuing to work on the sine wave, I wish the graffiti was sharper. I think you might could achieve a sharper look by making the 'light' have a more definite edge, possibly by lightening the shade of the glow, so that it is a faint glow, with the exception of the light burst, which needs a brighter glow. Also, I really dislike the pink, especially as I deal with 85% male clients. If you could change the 'M' back to the green, I would like it much better.
