The gradient from this one is kind of cool, the road trailing out of the A looks a little strange.

We like the road, and the logo is very consistent with the original. I can't really think of any negatives. you combined a lot of the aspects of the other logo that we like. Not sure there are any design aspects that I would suggest being tweaked, maybe just experiment with this same concept.
