# 4 and 5- We like this but could you do one with more block style lettering, the current lettering might be a little hard to read from a distance. You might want to try a block style "childrens" writeing. Might be interesting to see how that looks.
How would a person know form the design which one is mom and which one is the Dr? Any ideas?
Thank you for the fantastic feedback. I will create some alternatives with new lettering and work on how to separate out the doctor. I have a few ideas. Should have these back to you in a few hours.
Ok here is the revision. I have added a small head mirror to the doctor to distinguish him from the mother and after playing with several childlike fonts I have managed to alter the current one to keep it legible and still hand drawn. Eager to hear your thoughts.
Could you try 28 or 29 with something other than the head mirror that would be medical. Perhaps an otoscope or something else (not a shot) :-) The mirror is, as we say in the states, "old school" and makes one think more of a male Dr. not female.
Oh definitely, I totally agree and don't worry we say 'old school' here too :). I should have these back to you later. I will also look at some alternatives. I think it is important to note that most of the designers who's opinions I have sought over the doctor element have noted that it is already inferred as viewers naturally assume the mother is the one holding the child (just some food for thought). Thanks again for the great feedback.
Here are the revisions you requested. After playing with a few ideas i felt the first aid symbol the most appropriate and simple to convey to the viewer who the doctor in the mark is. Please let me know if you want to see this with any other font/layout/color or mark changes.
This is a general comment but I am also going to give a lot of people the same individual suggestion.
If you used a stethoscope in your proposal, we are curious to see how it would look if the long rubber tube spelled out our tagline “Healthcare for Kids. Helpcare for parents.
You could also try making the metal tubes that connect from the center T to the ear pieces read “healthcare for kids” and then the plastic tube say “helpcare for parents”. We don’t know if this idea would look good but if it does, it would be kind of cool. Thanks
