In regards to fluidity in design, this conception is terrific. However, it's a little modern-esc. May be altering the font of the "Alexander J. Hufschmid".
Entry #25-
The reference to a road / architecture for the initials, within a frame is very creative, but I feel the initial become lost in the conception. Also, I feel it is slightly too corporate looking. Feel free to provide a few other color selections you feel might work. I'm looking for something of softer, pastel tone - blues, greys, bashes, greens, browns.
Hi, I like entry number 36 but would like to see it with a couple of changes. Could you make the blue part of the logo black and the green part grey. My name should be in black and everything should be a bit centered, maybe split first name and initial from my last name to make that easier.
I really like the revisions you've made and posted above.
For revisions, is there anyway you could make it more obvious that it is a film strip? May be add some film perfs to create a texture to the initials...? Just a thought, and would be interested to see that.
Hi, As i am finalizing my decision, could I ask you for a couple of minor amendments to your designs? first, design 59 and design 68:
- please eliminate the half square to the left of the camera (only leave the ajh graphic with the lens) - put my name on two lines Alexander J. plus Hufschmid right below the camera - add LLC to Hufschmid so that Alexander J. and Hufschmid LLC are the same width as the camera
Design 57: same as above, stack my name below the camera and match the width of the design.
Thank you very much for the hard work on the designs. I could not be more pleased! Just a few more tweaks, and we should be just about there, I hope... :)
#81 - Question - Are the "grey" horizontal strip that cuts across the "A", "J" & "H" the same width as the rest of the logo? It appears to be slightly larger to my eye. Also, could the "LLC" listed at the end of "Alexander J. Hufschmid" be made smaller? May be try a few different font sizes, if you wouldn't mind. Lastly, could you try designing the camera lens in solid black, & 2-segmented parts - instead of 3-segmented parts (just to compare that difference ascetically). On a minor note, could you may be try different fonts for the "Alexander J. Hufschmid, LLC". Would be curious to see how that looks ascetically, as well!
#80 - Repeating myself... Could the "LLC" listed at the end of "Alexander J.
#47 / # 69 - If you wouldn't mind quickly putting my name on two lines, Alexander J. plus Hufschmid, right below the camera. Additionally, if you could add LLC to Hufschmid so that Alexander J. and Hufschmid LLC are the same width as the camera. On a minor note, could you may be try different fonts for the "Alexander J. Hufschmid, LLC". Would be curious to see how that looks ascetically, as well!
Thank you very much for the revisions! The logo designs are coming along very nicely.
- After viewing what the lens looks like with just "two" barrels, versus "three", I'll keep the "three". So, basically, could you take the AJH Film Logo for #93 + #94, and add the "three" barrel lens (i.e. #80/#81, as examples). The actual logos for #93, #94, #95 & #96 are perfect though. Those do not have to be altered!
- Could you make the font size slightly smaller for #93 & #94. Basically, split the difference between the "Alexander J. Hufschmid, LLC" font size of #93/94 & #95/96 (right in the middle). Keep the same font the same thou. I prefer the chosen font for #93, #94, #95 & #96, versus #81 & #82. I can see a slight over-lap with the "AJH" Logo, and the "A" & "J. / LLC", whereas, I am aiming to have the logo & "Alexander J. Hufschmid, LLC" flush with one another (i.e. no over-lap).
Please let me know if you have any questions/concerns, Thank you very much,
Hi Alex, Sure will provide the revision for you. This contest is currently in judging mode. Only the 1st ranked designer will be able to submit entries. You can change the rank anytime you like to get revision from designers. May this can help.
I made the adjustment of ranking you as the 1st designer, so you'll be able to submit entries.
#97 / #98 / -
- Is there anyway you can make the A J H more pronounced, and not quite so interlinked and fluid. I'd be curious to see what that could look like.
#59 / #68 -
- "Is there anyway you can make the A J H more pronounced, and not quite so interlinked and fluid. I'd be curious to see what that could look like." (same applies). - If you wouldn't mind quickly putting my name on two lines, Alexander J. plus Hufschmid, right below the camera. Additionally, if you could add LLC to Hufschmid so that Alexander J. and Hufschmid LLC are the same width as the camera.
Final alternation, and then we should be good to go -
#115 -
- Could you please drop down the "h", so the 45 degree cut makes an even line with the 45 degree cut from the "box" and "j". I think that would look smoother. - Additionally, the bridge on the "h" would have to be dropped down to adjust for above. Could you make the "bridge of the "h" even with the lower part of the "a". I hope this does not make the "h" too small in the logo though. That's my partial concern. - Lastly, could you please make the long "I" of the "h" even, instead of cut on that 45 degree angel. - You may have to shift the "lens" of the "camera" upward slightly. Would have to see the design.
I think we are almost there. I'm really liking this current design. Thank you very much.
Thank you very much for the revisions. I do not think I communicated what I was working for well enough.
With #115 - I thought the design for the "a" & "j" were perfect. I just wanted the 45 degree slash at the top of the "h" to remain there, just lowered slightly, so the "camera body / C", "j" and "h" make a clean line downward - so just lower the "h" slightly. Additionally, I preferred the 45 degree cuts in the bottom of the "h", versus the clean horizontal cut you've done in the revised versions above. Hopefully this is worded a little more clearly.
Please let me know if you would like any further guidance at all. Thank you very much!
Terrific! That was exactly what I was envisioning. However, after now the changes, I'm pretty set on #59. I think that logo design looks the cleanest and most effective. The only remaining change I have to ask of you is to place the current "Alexander J. Hufschmid, LLC" font underneath the logo. Aside from that, we should be pretty much done and dusted I'd hope.
Just to compare, could I also see a revision of the "Alexander J. Hufschmid, LLC" font for Entry #68. That way I can compare #68 - to - #59 + #126 - to - #127.
