Great logo, neat, clean and very serious looking like established company we are. We like it, but it looks like we can have a logo that is not so different from the rest. We love the idea of the lines and the effect that have over the name.
We need to be disruptive in the market and have a non like logo. Look at Ryder (www.ryder.com) is a very simple logo but very powerful.
Please work with your lines and typography to make a logo that will not have been seen anywhere else.
Great #127. Would it be possible to integrate the circle to the "L". We mean that the circle to start with the L and make all the way around to it again.
We love it like it is but it has the first impression that AL y separated from CARIN. Maybe the top could start on the top of the C so it doesn't cut the Alcarin.
We are in the judging faze and your logo has been a sensation among our people. However Raymer's logo they say it represents more of a serious logistics group. It’s been a difficult decision and its between you two.
Do you think there is something that can be done to make it more serious?. What I can think of its maybe that the circle can be located at the center and back of the name and the whole name could be bordered with a line and that inclined rectangle would still give the impression of the movement. Maybe the circle could be a little bit inclined also.
Also, we are thinking that we could then use the circle just with the A inside as a separate emblem in hats, pins, etc., that when people get to know our logo, if they see just the A with the circle, they would recognize the company. Is it possible to have a look of what the emblem could look like?
I'm not a designer, your are the expert here that can use the imagination to take your logo to be the winner. I personally like the most your typography and the circle.
Thank you for interested in my design. Here is an explanation of my design. At the beginning of your contest entry I was confused, because there are many good designs. Until at last I am interested in your direction saying "We move our customer's products all the way from their production plants to reatailers shelfs." From there I got the idea to make a circle with an arrow-shaped sections. It defines "move products along the way". It is a description of my design. I think this concept fits with your company's activities. :) But it all comes back to you, because I see a lot of good design in your contest and you have to choose the best one among them.
Talking about design changes, here are some rules that must be obeyed by all designers. - Your contest is currently in judging mode. Only the 1st ranked designer will be Able to submit entries. - Designers prohibited new design proposal. Designers should only make changes around existing concepts. In this case I can only make changes to "A" in a circle like your advice.
I hope this can help you and sorry my english not good :)
The A inside the circle looks awesome. We prefer the one that has the same A of the Alcarin.
What I meant when I told you to put the circle behind the Alcarin is no to put it on top but to have it at the back of the whole name. The circle would start at the top C and end and the top of the R an the same will go at the bottom.
yes .. I understand your point. But I have a problem here. - The form as a whole is not perfect and looks strange because it is a circle that is formed from multiple sections. - If I put fully behind the text also does not look good because the tip of the arrow can not be directly above and below the text. You can see both forms #176 #177 #178 I'm trying to make the circle a little brighter color, so "Alcarin" could be more prominent What do you think?
Try doing #177 but just erase the part of the arrows that are behind the name. Some arrows will be complete and others will be cut by the "white rectangle background" that name has.
