Thanks for participating! I am happy to see your different take on the alarm clock theme.
I think we have decided that we would like the logo to include a combination of blue and red colors. The particular blue that we currently use is PMS 301, so if you could try that it would be great. I think using red along with the blue is a good way to portray that our product "alerts" the customer.
Also, we are interested in seeing different portrayals of how our products alert the customer before product failure, other that the alarm clock theme, as well as the wireless technology that our products use. The top few entries so far do a good job of doing that, but I think that you and other designers have the creativity to come up with some different ideas.
We want a modern look that portrays the characteristics listed above.
Thanks again for your entries, and I look forward to seeing what else you can do.
#26-can you do this one with the transitional (shiny) font color style that you have on #22, and with black subtitle?
#27- can you provide a couple of variations on this one: with red subtitle, and with black subtitle; On both of these variations can you use the same transitional color style that you use in #22?
By "two tone color style", I mean the way that #22 is colored with the colors fading from dark to light or from light to dark. It kind of adds depth and a more modern feel.
#'s 44, 45, 46, 48 are interesting. It looks like you are trying to make an updated clock. Is that correct? One of my co-workers didn't see a clock until I pointed it out to him. That tells me that it may need to look a little more like a clock. I like the idea, and I'm glad you responded to my comments. Perhaps you can alter it a bit to make it a little more "clock-like." I'm not quite sure where to rank these entries just yet, so for now, I'll leave them unranked.
#100 and #101 are interesting with the hourglass theme. Is there any way to make the hourglass look like its working? Maybe have sand flowing from the top to the bottom. Just a thought. Good work though.
Can I please get a revision on #150 in which the colors on the clock go from green to red. I think I'd prefer to have as little "in-between" colors as possible. Maybe have 3 distinct color sections: one shade of green, one shade of yellow, and one shade of red.
Can you provide a font for #35 (and the ones that are similar if possible) that is a bit more sleek? Not as high-tech as #145, but somewhere in-between.
Please revise with the colors in the clock a bit more subtle, or not quite as bright. Also, a version that includes some "movement" with the clock hand, and have the clock hand resting at the end of the red segment, but on the red.
