Thanks for your submission. This is a good start. The correct phrase, however, is AgeAlert, not AgeAlarm. I'll get back to you with more feedback soon.
#6 really doesn't have a chance because of a couple of things: 1) It doesn't include the slogan, 2) It places a space between the two words, and we really want to keep those words without a space in between.
I like the way that the colors go from dark to light on #5. It gives it some depth. I also like the "sound waves"
I like the incorporation of the alarm clock on #4. Perhaps you could include the "sound waves" in this design.
Good work yesterday. In speaking with some of my colleagues, we decided that the clock theme may be a little outdated. We like #5 for a number of reasons: we like the more modern look of the font, as well as the "sound waves" that emphasize the "alert" portion of what we want to get through to our audience. Our products are also wireless, so the sound waves also imply that characteristic. Any variations on that theme would be welcome options (perhaps other modern ways/fonts of projecting "alert" and "wireless"). One of my colleagues pointed out that the "r" in #5 is a little difficult to read, so perhaps you could choose a font that is a little more defined.
I have also been told that blue and red are probably going to be the colors we end up choosing. The particular color of blue that we currently use is PMS 301. I don't know what that means, but if you can make the blue PMS 301, that would be great.
I was hoping for some other designers' ideas by this morning, but maybe I'm being unrealistic. Either way, you have some good ideas, and we are pleased with the contest so far. I'll look for your revisions throughout the day, and provide more feedback.
Here are new versions playing a bit with the entry you have pointed...
I am afraid that most of designers appear on the last days of the contest... :S Personally I like to start a contest since the beggining to make sure that my work is on track... Unfortunately many last minute designers took ideas from the first ones..... But its the name of the game..... What can we do hehe
I tryied the PMS 301 in one of the entries and was very similar to what I am using now (assuming you are talking of Pantone color guide :S)
So let me know your thoughts of the new entries...
All the Best for you ...(You didnt tell me your name :)
It's been a while since we spoke. For #18: If possible, we would like to see increased separation between the waves, so that the wave that is the crossbar for the Letter A isn't disproportionately separated from the others. You may have to move the crossbar up a bit? We basically want even distribution between the waves including the crossbar. Does that make sense? Send me a message if you have any questions.
For #'s 5 and 14, if possible, we would like to see versions of these two without the tilted "A". Also, any versions of these two with any other ideas you may have would be appreciated.
Okay, two more revisions if possible. You had the direction right the first time I think, but this time try it with all green except the last (top) one red. Also, try it without the orange, but with green to yello to red.
Thanks again for all of your hard work, especially early on. I'm rotating different people into the top position during the judging phase to get some final revisions before we make our decision. I don't have anything specific to request from you. We like your designs, particularly #52 abd #72. What I would ask of you is to revisit these submissions, and see if there is anything else you could add to give either one of them that extra boost. The basic idea is good, I'm just interested in seeing if there is anything you can add to them to make them that much better. One thing I might suggest is to see if you can make more of a symbol out of the A with the waves. Also, take this opportunity to submit any completely new design ideas.
