i really like the style... however, it looks to much like a fitness center logo. the idea is more about older people (35-55 years old) that still love to do extreme sports. ie: skateboarding, skiing, kayaking, etc. so, more of an average older person with an extreme attitude.
and i dont need to see both black and white versions, unless you do that for other reasons in logo tournament. :)
i just had an idea that i posted in main comments... what about your design with a lion head? play off the lion being an extreme and revered animal. just a thought.
