I will survey our team today and tomorrow. Thanks for being patient with our process. 8 years ago RVICS commented on #117 Withdrawn Sure, I have 2 versions for each logo. Here is my new entry #118 #119 #120 #121 . Thanks, Serjunan 8 years ago Lhall commented on #117 Withdrawn Almost. Let's square this by increasing the size of "Hope" and reducing "Africa's" so they are the same length. Then bring "leaders" down to the fourth line and make the font size of line 3 - 4 such that those two lines are a long as "Hope" Then increase the size of the image to be about the same height as the text. Then do the same for #115, please? Thank you. 8 years ago RVICS commented on #114 Withdrawn I get it, Thanks again for the feedback. I have posted the changes, here is my new entry #117 . If needed , I will submit the same layout for entry #115 , let me know yout thoughts. Thanks, Serjunan 8 years ago Lhall commented on #114 Withdrawn I apologize. I didn't make myself clear. Delete the square box around the logo. Put the text on the right with "Africa's" on the top line, "Hope" in larger font on the next line and "Spirit-filled Biblically trained leaders" in small font on the third line and "are the hope of Africa" on the fourth line. Arranged like that, the image and text will be in a square pattern (without a box around it) instead of on a horizontal line, as it is now. Questions? Thank you again! 8 years ago Lhall commented on #115 Withdrawn Yes, thanks! I appreciate your quick responses. 8 years ago RVICS commented on #91 Withdrawn Hi, Thanks for the feedbacks. I have posted the changes, Here is my new entry #113 #114 #115. Thanks, Serjunan 8 years ago Lhall commented on #91 Withdrawn Maybe I wasn't clear about the shape of Africa. It won't take much change to your image. Just make the top left bulge out more like the northwest coast and indent the mid-west coast slightly more. Thanks! 8 years ago Lhall commented on #91 Withdrawn This is becoming a stronger favorite. You will move into the next phase. Is there a way to tweak this to make this look even more like the shape of Africa, maybe more of an indent on the west coast? Can you add Madagascar? Then, please show us more colors, such as the the gold and gray of #35 and some variations of African earth tones. Many thanks! 8 years ago Lhall commented on #96 Withdrawn We would like to see this in a square format instead of horizontal. Please stack the words, "Africa's Hope" and add "Spirit-filled, Biblically trained leaders are the hope of Africa" Downsize the font sizes and make the image more prominent. Thanks! 8 years ago RVICS commented on #96 Withdrawn You are welcome. 8 years ago Lhall commented on #96 Withdrawn Yes, this is much better. This combines the dignity of the leader with the hope of the sunrise over Africa. Definitely a contender. Thank you! 8 years ago RVICS commented on #90 Withdrawn Sure, I have posted the changes #95 #96 #97, If there is any other changes that you would like to see, feel free to let me know. Thanks, Serjunan 8 years ago Lhall commented on #92 Withdrawn Thanks for showing me this one #92, and eighty-six through eighty-nine. None of those appeal to me, sorry. 8 years ago Lhall commented on #90 Withdrawn You worked hard to follow my suggestions exactly, thank you. But now that I see this, I like #31 better. Sorry! Can you return to the continent-sunrise shape of #31 but use something like this formal man with a tie instead of the casual jumping man? 8 years ago Lhall commented on #91 Withdrawn Good. The small change to the Horn of Africa makes a big difference. Thank you. 8 years ago RVICS commented on #31 Withdrawn Hi, Thanks for the feedbacks, I have posted the changes, Here is my new entry #90 #91 #92 Thanks, Serjunan 8 years ago Lhall commented on #31 Withdrawn Also, can the leader figure be represented with a more formal and less casual graphic? 8 years ago Lhall commented on #36 Withdrawn Some people don't see the continent. Is there a way to slightly shape the lines on the right side to more closely represent the horn of Africa? 8 years ago Lhall commented on #31 Withdrawn Can you give us a version where the continent reminds of opened book? The top left and bottom right parts of Africa could be darker hues that meet in the center with the lighter gold. The cut out lines could stay almost the same, but curve out to the right and left a bit to subtly represent pages? It would represent training through a book but also evoke a sunrise. 8 years ago Lhall commented on #19 Withdrawn This is an improvement over #19 . The round shape does provide a way to evoke the idea of a leader who is ahead of the flow. I'm trying to imagine how to present stories of actual leaders and end each story by reducing their photo into this dot. It might work. Our team will talk about this. You have good ideas, keep working! 8 years ago Lhall commented on #19 Withdrawn This is an improvement over #19 . My question is whether this icon for the leader will be seen as dignified? 8 years ago RVICS commented on #36 Withdrawn I have the same suggestion , using a round shape as the picture of a person (trainer). Please check my new entry #35 and #36 . If needed color can be adjusted easily, let me know your thoughts. Thanks for the feedbacks. Serjunan 8 years ago RVICS commented on #33 Withdrawn Hi, Thanks for the feedback, I have posted the changes , Please check #31 #33 . Thanks, Serjunan 8 years ago Lhall commented on #19 Withdrawn This design and #19 are beautiful and engaging. If I could see a way, using clever marketing, to connect this design with our message that trained leaders are Africa's hope, I would eagerly embrace it. I will keep this in the running but right now I can't imagine how we would connect the dots from this image to our mission. Do you have any suggestions? 8 years ago Lhall commented on #21 Withdrawn Of the two designs with sun rays, this is the more attractive. This clearly and cleanly speaks hope. The challenge would be to connect that message of hope with how we bring it---through trained leaders, as distinct from the many ways other agencies try to help Africa. At a minimum, our mission statement "Spirit-filled, .....hope of Africa" needs to be added. What ideas do you have that would evoke hope through trained leaders? 8 years ago
