I think the way that you have treated the text here. It is certainly unique. I also appreciate the emblematic nature of the design however you lose me with the hand that comes from the S. How could we tighten this design but still maintain these qualities?
Hi W and thank you so much for taking the time to share your thoughts with me. I too love the text, it is a great font for your ministry. As I like to play with initials and see if they form an abstract shape that might have more meaning, I saw the a as an abstract head, resting on the 'shoulder' of the s which leads to an arm with an extended hand, which symbolized leadership to me. However, if you did not see this, it has failed. Perhaps I should simply keep the s as an s... I will try that for you, and I will be happy to take my design in any direction you wish.
