Hi,
#70 think we misunderstood each other. In my brief it says 'Our latest (which is... well, let's not go there) is blue. '. Meaning our present logo is regarded as extremely ugly by our clients, and with another logo reusing parts of our present design it will be met by questionmarks.
Liked your 'outside the box' thinking with #68.

#71 like the composition - although not the 'a' in the symbol.
