This concept is of a path "moving towards" a bright horizon. The path also creates a human figure that appears to be in dance thus showing healthy movement.
I really like this and even before I read your description, that is exactly what I felt when I looked at your design. You are definitely on the right path!
Is this something that would work on a tshirt or hat with the shading that is behind it? I can see it working great in print or tv, but what would it look like on just a white background?
Here are some options with the background removed, I actually think it looks clean and crisp in this simplified way...I also included a horizontal layout which is occasionally needed for smaller print jobs....
Hi Paul, I agree that it looks crisp and clean. I really like it. Is there anyway to still shade the beginning of the path a little bit so there is still the brightness at the top of the path, essentially emphasizing that movement.
Here you go...no border. One with the shadow, one without.
My fear with the circle is that it will camouflage the movement of the person/path...but it never hurts to try. I'll give it a try and see what we get. I have some other ideas for shape as well that I will forward shortly..
In the meantime here are the designs with no border. (I like the clean look of these a lot) #55 | #56
I agree. I really like the clean look with out the outline box. Can you see if you can lighten up the shade just a little bit. I like to see it , but maybe close to #34 so it doesn't look like darkness to light but a subtle transition. I am also excited to see your other ideas!
Here is a circular design...I also added two different shapes. The two additional shapes add the feeling of being elevated (The shadow gives that illusion)
#57 | #58 | #59
For what its worth I love the softness of #58... It has round edges but does not detract from the flow.
Jen - Here it is a little brighter at the bottom... #62 | #63
Also, I am noticing that the images aren't showing through quite as clear as they really are, this is a compression issue that sometimes happens when the logos are compressed for viewing on Logo Tournament. It is not a reflection of the final product which will have flawless clarity.
I was thinking the design looked like it was looking backwards...so I reversed it and now it is looking forwards...Subtle, I know...but it helps convey your message even further.
Here is a simple concept...it shows forward movement, elevation, a reach to succeed. I thought the icon at the end of the wordmark, further accentuated the forward concept.
This one forms an abstract "A" While still holding fast to the idea of elevated, forward movement. I think it is visually striking and balanced as well...
One thing to note is that only the top designer can make changes during judging mode...If you need further changes from the other designers you will have to rotate the top design during judging. Many CH's are unaware of this rule.
Again thanks and best of luck. There are a LOT of great designers here.
Thank you for such great work! The designs I received are awesome! and so varied too. If I want to see variations, do they have to be in #1 until I get the updates? Can they notify me when they are ready with more? Let me know. I would like to see the font in the reverses and B&W you sent.
i.e. I can make the changes in the font ONLY if AND while I am ranked first...you can then rearrange things back should you desire. I do have the changes that you requested set up and ready. I just cant upload them unless I am first temporarily.
The font change is VERY important in the B/W concepts as it sets the two words apart. The color is set apart by the blue/green combo...The B/W is set apart by the font thickness....All things which are important to consider.
Also note: We are not allowed to submit new concepts...only modify existing, Which is what you have asked for.
I'll be glad to, but I will need you to swap positions again...Also I will be of the studio (where your file is) until mid afternoon. I will gladly make it then. (Hope to be back around 2:30-3:00 Eastern)
By the way just FYI. I always include different color versions as part of the final package. I do not charge for B/W copies, etc...All of these files that you see are available to you at closing of the contest. And color tweaks can be made after the fact if need be.
