we do not care for entrys 1,2,3. Too busy, lack of definition. We like #4, any ideas how to expand on that idea?

Hello Adagio. Thanks for the feedback. Generally these are just ideas and not fully developed and rendered.

#1, #2, #3 is a basic idea that can be rendered in a variety of ways with degrees simplicity and definition. If the idea is sound, it can be honed into a style more apt.

#4 . I will play with this and see where it can take us.

kind regards

Hi dasx,

We are not fond of 17 or 18.
We like 19 better than 4
So far we prefer some other designs, but really do like your concepts so please continue
Thanks!!

Use Monotype Corsiva as the font and play with it, nice touch so far

That is #33 referenced in prior comment. Liking it more than previous designs. Im curious- how would it look with a background color instead of white?

OK - the white backround is better. Our friends really like 33. We would like to see a cluster of grapes on the vine, the monotype corsiva font with single spacing for Adagio, and the lettering for vineyard is too small. I like the first letter capital, others lower case. This could very well become our favorite... Thank you!!!

Hello again, you may have noticed that frankkenstein withdrew his first ranked design. There are very strict rules regarding these contests. While there a number of given graphic element that are open to all to use, we can't combine them in similar ways, the one posted it first has the right to develop it.

I apologize if this has caused any confusion or inconvenience. I am working on new designs as well as tightening up the ones on the board and will post updates tonight.

best regards

I really like 100 and 101 - is there a way to go back to monotype corsiva font, and is there anyway to incorporate a wine glass?
Thanks so much!

Hello again. I have made some little tweaks. A subtle sheen in the text, a cut in the A/V and some overall spacing adjustments.

I think the overall composition and proportions are working nicely.

What are your thoughts on color. Is there anything you would like to see besides this como?

With #121, see if you can give the violin more definition and make "vineyards " bigger

Thanks

Hello. Can you elaborate on definition. You mean more detail? Tell me what you are trying to achieve, I may be able to suggest a solution.

More detail on the violin

I'll be honest with you. more detail actually hurts. I have been trying different ways to do this and it kills the the iconic violin shape.

#148 was a first attempt. It already starts to get too busy, At any smaller sizes this will turn to a bit mess. I much prefer the clean iconic shapes. They are much stronger.

#147 has the slightly larger "vineyards".
