Hi Dennis, thanks for the design. I like the colours and font, as well as the layout of an image on the left and text on the right. I don't really like the person as the image, but I think this is going to be the most difficult part for me to find something I like, as I don't really have any suggestions. What I would like to see is some images which are a bit more abstract, and a bit simpler.
I also think that the last two lines of the text are a bit small to read, so I wonder if having a taller image to the left would allow the text to appear over more lines and therefore be able to be a bit larger. Alternatively, do you think that the logo could be in three parts (image, company name & tag line), instead of what I see as two (image and text). I'm not sure if that makes sense ... so to try to say that same thing another way ... would this work: 3 elements side by side ... 1. image, 2. [big letters] Active [big letters] Pro [small letters] Consulting Pty Ltd (over 3 lines), 3. Artisan Business Solutions (over 3 lines all small letters).
Thanks for the constructive feedback, i think the company name, company pty ltd. and tagline one below other will look good. I am not getting what you want to say (over3 lines), do you want it like that IMAGE
then ACTIVE Pro
Beside that
CONSULTING PTY LTD
and beside that
Artisan Business Solutions
Am i getting it right. Please explain, so that i mould my design according to your taste
Thanks - yes I think you are getting what I meant - I really don't know if it will work. Maybe there is just too much text. Another alternative might be ...
There are a few elements of the new bunch of logos you just added that I do like.
#6 is I think the only design so far where all the text seems to fit and be of a large enough font. I like the different colours in Active vs Pro, although I think I would prefer both parts of ActivePro to be the same font weight (if part is bold, then all is bold in ActivePro).
I don't mind the image in #6, in that I like the use of squares, but it isn't quite right. Could you give me some alternatives? Maybe without the grey square out to the top left, and replacing one of the blue squares with a grey one?
I do like how clean #8 is, without all that text. And I like the idea of something different for the image - this is definately along the right lines, but not exactly what I want.
Thanks - that is exactly what I meant in #25 as far as the three elements side by side. I do like the squares in the image in #25, but I wonder if introducing one more colour to just one of the blue squares might make it just that little bit more interesting. I think the six squares just need something changed slightly but I don't know what.
I think I still really like #25. There will be times where I don't have room to include the "artisan business solutions" to the right of the logo, so I have been covering that bit up and looking at what it looks like without it. It just looks a little bit bland to me. Can you think of anything that might make it look a little more polished when it is used without the slogan?
I still like #25, but thanks for the other ideas. I'd like to concentrate on the text part of the logo now. What alternatives can you suggest for a slightly more interesting font?
Also can you make the two lines of text line up, maybe by reducing the kerning in "consulting" or reducing the font size slightly? It would like to see the left edges of the A in activepro and the C in consulting exactly lined up vertically, and the same on the right hand side.
Just another idea, for something completely different, do you think that this might work:
Image much larger, above the word "ActivePro" above the word "Consulting", to make a vertical logo. You might need to use a different font to be able to have a large enough font size but much narrower letters.
I don't think the vertical layouts work with the image. I still really like #25 and can't think of anything that can be done to improve it. Open to suggestions.
All your recent changes are quite good and definately along the right track, but not quite as good as #25.
The new image in #118 works well in the vertical logo, except that I still like #25 the best. It seems the choice I have is between this logo which I think shows a more conservative, traditional, trusted, professional image versus another designers logo which I also really like that looks much more contemporary, young, vibrant and energetic. In my opinion, both logos are equally good representations of my business and it's hard to decide what image I want to portray.
This is my first time using logo tournament - I see now why they call it a tournament!
ya its always be a difficult situation for clients to choose the right logo amongst so many good logos and good designers, all competing to get the gold trophy. It also depends on the clients like you who give regular feedbacks which help in giving you the best solution for your business. Hope the best logo wins. Good luck to you in choosing the right logo for your business.
