Hi, here is my entry for your consideration. I know you mentioned wanting a plane in the logo, but I wanted to try something a little different. When you think about some of the greatest logos out there, they don't always include what they sell. For example, the Pepsi logo isn't a bottle of soda, and the Fedex logo doesn't include a shipping box. The idea here is flight, represented by the bird, which is formed from the bottom of the ace of spades. It's clever, unique, and memorable -- all great characteristics for a good logo. I'd really appreciate having your feedback. Thanks!

#17 Lindsay, I really like this one and I admire you for looking outside of the box and thinking creatively. This is certainly going to be moved up the list. The one thing I think that might help it would be to make the bird look just a bit more birdish. Maybe just a few slashes in the tail for feathers or something. Also, could it be a bit more 3 dimensional? Thanks so much for your contribution!

Hi, here another version with the bird drawn more realistically. I will work on a version that's in between as well. Thanks!

I think just some strait thin vertical lines would be enough, maybe a handful in the wings and tail would be plenty.

Hi, here's a simplified version as you requested. Thanks!

Ok, I think your on to something. maybe a bit thinner? Possibly some dimension and shading to give it more depth?

We'd really like to portray motion in our logo since our business is flight afterall!

Thanks so much for participating.

I'm still working on the variations you requested, but here's a first pass. I'm struggling with adding movement and still keeping the logo in a squarish area -- logos that fit well within a square are considered the most successful. I worry this one is getting too tall. Thanks!

Yes, I do see what you mean, I don't think the black things are going to work though... I don't know though, your the pro and you seem very motivated! thanks so much for your work!
I do however like the shading of the yellow bits, it is a good start to making it less 'flat'.

Ok, ok, I keep editing my comment...

Is there a way to put the spade and the bird o 2 different planes somehow?
