Hi, here is my entry for your consideration. I know you mentioned wanting a plane in the logo, but I wanted to try something a little different. When you think about some of the greatest logos out there, they don't always include what they sell. For example, the Pepsi logo isn't a bottle of soda, and the Fedex logo doesn't include a shipping box. The idea here is flight, represented by the bird, which is formed from the bottom of the ace of spades. It's clever, unique, and memorable -- all great characteristics for a good logo. I'd really appreciate having your feedback. Thanks!
#17 Lindsay, I really like this one and I admire you for looking outside of the box and thinking creatively. This is certainly going to be moved up the list. The one thing I think that might help it would be to make the bird look just a bit more birdish. Maybe just a few slashes in the tail for feathers or something. Also, could it be a bit more 3 dimensional? Thanks so much for your contribution!
I'm still working on the variations you requested, but here's a first pass. I'm struggling with adding movement and still keeping the logo in a squarish area -- logos that fit well within a square are considered the most successful. I worry this one is getting too tall. Thanks!
Yes, I do see what you mean, I don't think the black things are going to work though... I don't know though, your the pro and you seem very motivated! thanks so much for your work! I do however like the shading of the yellow bits, it is a good start to making it less 'flat'.
Ok, ok, I keep editing my comment...
Is there a way to put the spade and the bird o 2 different planes somehow?
