Good Job - The simplicity is appealing, portraying Academic, solid, highly organized, correct, stable, grounded. Maybe place the image to the left and read below.
I love vivid color and with a simplier more distinguished design. if you get amoment check out my website www.james-allen-collection.com. A flower or two could be used, but I'am not so sure - the simplicity of the your work is more appealing to me. The simplier design says stability and expertise to me. Now we need to mix colors and work on the image to the left and the font. All lower case may be best , but do me a favor and do one with the first A capitalized. Mixing colors, as I am sure you are aware, is just the best and certainly set the mood - blues purples and off white to grey. Feel free to color it yourself to say what we want to portray. The single image to the left could be a circle of four (four partners) either what you have in the rounded cirlce like images or separate dolphin shaped images - I don't want make it look like a dolphin, just the shape. The colored background needs shaded - not flat. Also try black and make the colors of the images and the font contract withteh background. I would also do it on glossy white. Make it very colorful and distinct. Welcome to the hunt.
my idea is that there are one main logo with it´s colors. And versions that has different colors depends on where it is used. example logo used in dental software is different than nursing.
Now take the purple color off of the font and make the font pop more off of the page and deepen the backgrouhd so that the logo and font contrast more. We're getting there - maybe we can incorporate a fine blue line around the letters to deepen them and make the letters whiter to make them pop more.
