Hi Off Beat- I was hoping you were going to join in. I've been looking at other contests and every time I find a design that I love it belongs to you.
I really like the type style, color and look of #159. But to be honest with you the AC does not really stand for anything so if I have just an "A" people will start to ask what does that stand for. I want my company logo to reflect my personality. I'm an event planner in my mid-30s and is creative, funky and sophisticated. I like the black background, white or silver would be a a nice option. Feel free to use to use the pink above, purple, silver, green for the type.
To be honest I really like the type style of #159 it seems much more sophisticated. What about a martini glass, or sparkles on the letters or something a little less safe. I'm hired by clients to think outside the box and I really want something that conveys my creativity. I know a martini glass is not that different but I really love martinis and everyone who knows me would get that idea.
Here's the full name in the type. Not sure about the martini glass. Normally, using something like that and the script type muddies up the design. I'll play around with some ideas.
How about an funky, modern city scape and the company name below. Everyone that has been shown the designs likes yours the best #159 or #172 and you still remain my favorite designer.
Baltimore city, Maryland would be great! I like the original Sex and the City logo something like that. After taking a poll you have again won over the masses (smile) but do you have a more contemporary type style for the company name. I would also like to make sure that people can identify that it is a city. A funky, modern, contemporary city.
Like the #257 but can you do it with a black background? I think #172 was liked so much because of the contrast.
Is there a site that you can direct me to so I can look at some type styles. I hate making you resubmit over and over because of something like fonts. Maybe if I can take a look I can give you a name of one that I think would work.
There's something about #313 that I LOVE. Can't put my finger on it but it's me! Could you try adding a few more "buildings" in various heights to simulate a city. Not sure if that would clutter the look.
