Here is my logo for your consideration. I combined the gear and the lighthouse ideas into one, with the top bulb of the lighthouse being an "AM" for Absolute Mechanical. I also used only shades of green, as you are an energy-saving, green company. Additional layouts to follow...

Per your request, here is a new version without the gear incorporated. The light tower is still utilizing a stacked "AM" as the top & bulb of the logo, shining light onto the name of the company below. It is simple, yet extremely memorable and eye-catching. This logo would print or embroider great at any size.
