I like your idea of using the final 'D' in 'BEYOND' as the 'D' in 'DJs'! Also your choice of font is good :)
I would like the '&' symbol included because the business name is 'Above & Beyond DJs'.
Maybe the mirrorball would look better without the headphones & maybe you could try it with some blue & pink-purple highlights?
I look forward to seeing any revisions with the above changes.
