Thanks for this submission. I would like to see a different font used for Abilene. One that is more contemporary. Could something be done with the shutter and sun to make them stand out more? I would like to see "blinds" have a diagonal shadowing from left to right with lines in the shadow. Maybe deep grey to a lighter grey the farther away the shadow gets from the word. Thanks and I look forward to the updated design.
sorry I don't really understand what you want in the shadow and I also recommend that you have a logo that works well without gradients so it is easier to use as a logo... think if you want to etch it on glass or engrave or embroider it ... they cannot capture gradients.
#31 font is better. I do like the image with the sun in this submission. I just wanted lettering that more elegant. Sorry I'm not up to date on font names. We will be using the logo on billboards, on our trucks, and in print. The shadow look would be a shadow of the word blinds that is cast downward and to the right. As if the light was above and to the left of the logo. The dark grey would get lighter the farther away from the word blinds it gets. Thanks.
#37 could you use a font such as Sans Serif Raspoutine( http://www.dafont.com/raspoutine.font) for ABILENE? Also, I would like to see the sun moved to the beginning of Abilene, and have it look like it is setting where the horizon is the area between ABILENE & Blinds. If Blinds shadow could be alternating shades of grey that would be great. I like the shutter placement. Please places frame around it to provide a "shutter in window look". Thanks.
#42 I do like this. To more define the look of the shutter I would like to add a horizontal line on the top and a vertical line on the left side of the shutter. Thanks and feel free to show me other ideas you think might make my logo better.
