I like the simplicity and style. It would be nice to see a subtle abstract symbol, possibly in the background, and also for the ampersand to be a bit more apparent. Great logo though.
The gray background seems to diminish the flow of the logo. I think it may be better if the ampersand were a solid color, possibly gray. Also a bit more detail, potentially an outer line or bold line around the "mechanical" letters. Lastly, is it possible to place the logo in the background instead of the side?
