Hi:-) I tried to give the logo a fun/youthful vibe, something that would appeal to a 7 yr old as well as a 30yr old :-)...and tried to maintain a link to your other logos...... thanks:)missy
Hello, really nice job! #38 with the black font is somehow too plain. Also, the black background is not relevant, as we are going to use the logo on white paper/print. Can you try making #37 in another color? I really like the motive/design, but not the orange color... Thanks
Hello, You have done a really nice job! Thank you very much. I hope you understand that it's quite difficult for me to make a decision... :) I need to talk to my team. I'll get back to you as quick as possible, and hopefully within 24 hours.
Hello again, I like the idea with the road-symbol. But... Can you try to remove the dotted lines? Right now it looks too much like a highway, and a global-travelling-agency-logo... I hope you know what I mean... :)
We've gone over the revised submissions and as you've might have noticed - we've moved you to 2nd place :)
Here's our feedback: The road/globe is perfect - it's the letters that we find a tad too block'ish if you could somehow try and make them more "organic" or lively if you will rather than a standard font if that makes sense? That being said the D's lead to a few discussions. The first D we didn't quite like the that its broken into two pieces. The second D looked like a D with a P inside of it although the cross is a nice touch.
Second point of critique is the choice of colours. The green/blue doesn't work as it gives an enviromental "green" feel which is not quite what we're looking for. We do however appreciate you only use two colours. But a different scheme would be needed. 2 main colours for the logo/design and a third background colour as the logo will be printed on to T-shirts. Don't be afraid to submit a variety of schemes if that's possible.
So to summarize: Different font for the "DSD" - more lively. Different colours - 2 for the logo and 1 background colour - less eco-enviromental.
some concepts integrate the cross into letters....my idea....I am alittle upset at the blatant concept 'borrowing'. This idea, introduced by me. I am here to offer an original take for you,,,and wor hard on ideas, I will protect those ideas.
I'm not quite sure what you mean by "blatant concept borrowing" - could you be more specific? If you look at the DUK-logo we uploaded when first starting this competition, you will notice that the cross is a pretty crucial part of our "identity" and lettering. FYI the DUK logo is 50 or so years old. Hope this doesn't discourage you.
As you might have guessed, our team can not agree on which design to pick... :( We really like the globus-sun part, and it helped alot changing the DSD-font. But maybe its too slim now? And the orange-color-combo is... mhmm... we would like something more visual-strong and happy-colors.
Hello, Thank you very much for your participation. It was very difficult for us to reach a final decision. Your work was great, but in the end we felt your design was not "catholic-ish" enough. Good luck with your future contest. Kind regards DUK
