I prefer the entry #17.
I would like to see a new icon, not with something referring to mobile/wifi connection.
It should represent a team or a group of person instead of a one active person. Our app is addressed to help a team to be managed.

What is the rectangle in which you put the icon? I really don't like it... is it to give the mobile impression as a cellphone or a pc tablets?
I would remove it and try to use small people with legs being as a group...

In #17, I like the fact that the person looks "in action".
In #40, I like that you put a small group of people but they look static. If they could look a little more dynamic (it's for sport teams after all), that would be better.
Also, I'd be curious to see one of your design without the mobile frame, just to compare.
