I wanted to upload a couple of versions of what the B&W version of the logo would look like. The black and white version would also be used for any 1 color application, such as screen printing apparel, stickers... For a one color, what you see as black would be the color indicated to the printer, such as blue, giving you a blue and white version. Hope that makes sense. :)
I'm working on these now. As for the welder, I was trying to keep the image a "high contrast" drawing for the logo (only highlights and shadows). I did this so that it is easier to print and easier to see when reduced to the size of a business card. However if you would rather see the welder in more detail, I can do that too, as well as change the pose etc... just let me know. (I have not focused on those details yet since it's easier to fine tune a logo after the contest is over.
You are not stuck with the final logo version. Tweaks and revisions are normal. The contest winner is allowed one-on-one contact with the client which makes it a lot easier to make adjustments to the logo.)
Hi Kuskytwin80,
DOH! I accidentally moved the spark away from the edge. I was having the him weld the circular edge. I'll fix that on upload a new version. Thanks for the ranking and feedback.

I'm in NorCal. I was trying to see around what time you might be online (time zone) and I had found a Adam's Welding on line in New York.
