i thought the inclusion of the "T" into the icon made it look a little busy and was not needed if the arrow was showing the "transition" anyway. here is my concept with a 2 moving into an arrow and out of the ball to show the transition from one stage to the other. simple and clean font to show strength and structure with some movement in the coloration. also the red portion of the arrow would make a nice bullet point for you. enjoy.
