We have a marketing mtg on the 10th and the deadline is the 11th, so unless I can discuss with them sooner you will know on the 10th. It will be one of the last three designs you sent.
Yes. I totally understand your point. That's why it would be better to separate the phrase "100% washable" from the logo so we can emphasize it better and you can enlarge it. Putting it together with the logo will make it less noticable in my opinion because there are a lot of elements surrounding it.
The main selling point of this bed, the one that sets it aside from others is the total wash-ability. So we need marketing elements that communicate those ideas. Let's see what my marketing group thinks.
I do too but I know my marketing group were not thrilled. They liked it plain (nothing between the words) But I am concerned that we need a bit more indication visually of the wash-ability. It is the hardest thing to convince the customer. So I really appreciate your wisdom. Of the two new ones I like this one. If you have anymore ideas, go for it. You should know by now you are the designer I will be picking.
I really like the shape of this one. Without anything interrupting the flow of the words "The washable Alternative" but there is no indication of water...any thought on a little wave under the words dog bed or a wave running under the tag line? Something that won't impact the integrity of what you already have done?
Keep everything the same but remove the washing machine logo and balance out the tag line. That is version 1. Version 2 remove the washing machine logo but put in some simple blue line waves in its place. Kinda like your very first versions with the wash tub...but without the tub and making the waves proportionally right for tag line. Thanks....we are really close!
Are you up for one more version? Just a minor change. I would like to see what it would look like with the dog on a burgundy/cranberry color bed. Similar to the color of the print "dog bed" ans similar to,the background color of #58. It is such a rich color.
You have done a great job of working off the models I have posted. I will also tell you that my marketing people like the flexibility of you logo. The name and tag line could stand alone if needed or the dog could be moved to the side if needed. And the dog could be used alone.
I met with my marketing team and as you can see you are now ranked as our top three. This is our first choice logo and we would like to see one more tweaking of it. Are you open to another modification of the dog? The dog face/ expression is perfect! …you did a great job using the model I put on FaceBook. The body still needs a little work, it feels a little out of proportion/awkward. Would you be willing to give us one more revision? I will put some good pictures of a lying down Golden Retriever Dogs on the FaceBook page. You can also use the one at the top of my page as a model for the BACK legs (her front legs look dorky!). The dogs tend to tuck them in.
talking with my marketing folks in about an hour, if you can make the change by then, that would be great. You are in the top two contenders in my book…and I am the owner of the company.
Thanks for your comments! Please see #50 and #51 for the changes in the dog's fur and color. I've changed the color of the bed and added some secondary color to add depth.
Much better dog...you must have looked at the picture! Any shot at making a little bit of distinction on the "fur" they are technically called "feathers" on the back of the legs and under the tail....just to give a little detail. Also, can you play with the color of the dog....like the original gold color and maybe the color of the bed? Even adding a little puffiness to the bed. This is definitely in the running. My marketing guys liked the base of your original
